We are Trans* Open Wardrobe
We are a Swiss non-profit association led by queer and trans BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) people based in Bern, founded in 2022.
Gender-affirming items are not covered by Swiss healthcare, despite being an important part of gender-affirming care. We provide these items for free for trans, non-binary and gender-expansive people (TNG) in Switzerland who cannot afford to buy them.
We also organize and participate in events for TNG people to find suitable clothes and gender-affirming products in safer spaces.
Get gender-affirming items
From donations, collaborations and wholesale with trans suppliers, we provide for FREE within Switzerland:
- Gaffs/tucking panties
- Breast forms and padding
- Binders
- Trans tape
- Packers and packing boxers
- And more
1) Select the items you want from our inventory and filter them by category, size, colour or brand
2) Remember the ID number for the items, and go to our order form
3) Fill in your info in the order form and add the item IDs

All the items we offer are for free to all TNG people who need them without discrimination or financial barriers. Our work is entirely volunteer-based.
We rely on donations to maintain our stock and a small storage/office space to operate from. It would make a huge difference if you set up a regular donation. Monthly donations, even 5 francs, allow us to plan for long term.
